Recently, Serene Woods participated in the 19th New Delhi World Book Fair 2010, organised by The National Book Trust. The fair is the biggest book fair in the Afro-Asian Region and attracts exhibitors both from India and abroad.
Stand 24, Hall 2 – 5, our space in the Fair, created a lot of buzz with many emerging authors and distributors approaching us to know more about the concept and to be part of the Serene Woods family. Displaying our twenty titles in the very first year of our journey, we were appreciated not only for the novel idea, but also for its creative execution in terms of our designs and presentation. With a signboard of ‘Are you a writer?’ we could accomplish what we set out for, meeting new authors and interested readers looking for fresh writing.
Participating in the fair was yet another milestone for Serene Woods and there are many more to come. It is imperative that we thank our authors for sharing their brilliant work with us, our editors for the perfect polish and our designers for packaging it just right. We extend a special thanks to those who could visit us at the fair and all those whose support remains a vital component of our drive to achieve more for our authors and partners. Cheers!
